Futunity UK was established in 2004. It is a sport and dance academy based in Uxbridge, West London. The unique name was created using three powerful words; future, unity and opportunity. This is because Futunity is made up of a united team who dedicate themselves to helping individuals with their futures by creating opportunities.
The atmosphere at Futunity is like a family. There have been dancers who have been attending since the age of 2 who are now in their late teens and majority of the staff also began their dance life at Futunity. This is what makes the coaches feel such a personal connection to the students as they were once in their shoes.
Futunity provides recreational classes both in their own studio and across West London in schools and leisure centres. They don’t focus on one set thing. They have a diverse range of classes including; street dance, break dance, street cheer, tap, jazz, ballet, gymnastics and free running.
As well as their recreational classes, Futunity have a devoted dance squad who compete across the country. The squad has 3 different crews; DUY, The Next Nation and Faded. In the last year between the 3 crews they have accumulated 114 1st to 3rd place trophies in solos, duos and team categories. Whilst attending the British Street Dance Championships earlier this year Futunity was awarded with the title of one of the best dance schools in the UK.
Futunity strives to be a fun, welcoming place for all and everyone. They have gone from strength to strength over the years and are always finding ways to better themselves.
