Climb North East opened its doors in October 2011. Based in Ferryhill, County Durham, it is one of the largest climbing centres in the UK, measuring some 9000 sq. ft. Our centre is run by climbers passionate about their sport. The aim was to create the most realistic climbing experience possible by using a multitude of angles, the best climbing holds on the market and, most importantly, selecting the best people to set the problems or routes.
The centre is split into 5 different areas. There are 4 different bouldering zones and a separate section for top rope and lead climbing. We have a dedicated training area, and an on-site shop and cafe.
Allow every muscle group to operate as you challenge your brain to solve the problem (climb) on the wall. Come down and enjoy the social side of climbing too. Climbing is suitable for all ages and ability level.
