I am an independent Chartered Building Surveyor based in Reading and covering the entire County of Berkshire together with South Oxfordshire and Northern Hampshire. I can provide the RICS Homebuyer report and a bespoke full building survey for the older or much modified buildings or those that have been converted or are suffering from structural damage. I am also able to provide a full drawing service from initial sketch design through to finished drawings for local authority Planning, Conservation Area and Listed building applications as required and the more in-depth Building Regulation consent applications. I have provided drawings for garage and roof conversions, small and large extensions and new houses. If required I can provide detailed schedules of works, seek competitive quotations from local competent builders and supervise the building works as the contract administrator; attending periodic site meetings, agreeing Variation Orders and certifying the contractor’s requests for payments, issuing Payment Certificates as required. I often undertake the role of Party Wall Surveyor and can assist you if this is necessary.
