Our vision is to be everyone’s first choice for activity and we’ve made it our mission to encourage everyone to participate in 30 minutes of moderate physical activity 5 times a week. During work time, at home or by visiting the leisure centres we manage at least twice a week, our customers will feel better for it.
Sports and Leisure Management Limited (SLM), formed in 1987, is the company behind this exciting new brand. We operate and manage local leisure centres on behalf of local councils.
We have a solid track record of leisure operational achievement, activity expertise, service excellence, colleague development and management skill. An ability to deliver value for money as well as increasing participation forms the mainstay of our business. With over 20 years experience currently managing 28 local authority leisure contracts, and with nearly 77 managed sites across the country, our company is the longest established in the UK.

Our job is managing the leisure environment and this comes from having a well defined internal process to guarantee leisure centres that are safe, clean and fun.
The skills of our people – managers, coaches and service personnel – are at the heart of what we do and we support their knowledge with training. Trained and qualified people means our customers visits will be both pleasurable and memorable.
