An 18 hole golf club established in 1997 and nestled in 250 acres of tranquil Surrey countryside. Merrist Wood is a woodland course surrounded by mature trees. Located outside Guildford along the Aldershot Road and 5 minutes from the A3, Merrist Wood will provide you with a golfing experience like no other.
At 6,909 yards the course is one of the longest in Surrey. When played from our championship tees it offers a real challenge to golfers of any standard. There are forward tees on all holes but with the white tees at 6,600 and yellow tees at 6,300 it still offers a challenge for any player to play to their handicap.
The holes offer a great deal of variety. Water comes into play on 5 of the holes and strategically placed bunkers can catch wayward shots so there is a premium on keeping the ball straight on this testing golf course.
We are a friendly members based club and welcome visitors and society golf days 7 days a week.
