I served for 28 years in the RAF, so I know a little bit about the different constraints and circumstances of being part of the military family. In pre-Covid days (remember those?) I was asked to shoot a few Mess events in the Lincolnshire area and, if those ever start happening again, I'd love to come and set up to take photographs at your next big event. I provide a service where I offer all attendees a short photo session on the evening with a chance to buy prints to be delivered to the Mess a few days later. I charge no fixed fee for this service - I rely on print sales alone - and I make a donation of 10% of my takings to a military charity nominated by you. It used to be that only actors required professional headshots. However, in these days of social media, a professional headshot can make all the difference to your online profiles. Don't forget that many (if not most) prospective employers will do a quick Google search on their applicants before they invite them for interview and so, as you start to look for a job during your resettlement, make sure that you have a professional headshot on your LinkedIn and other job related profiles. I offer a very reasonable service for this purpose. So many of us have great family pictures, but there's often one person missing - the person taking the picture.
