We specialise in working with the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) (Scotland) Act 2003 and the Adults with Incapacity (Scotland) Act 2000, and have experts that provide psychiatric opinions for Courts and Tribunals. We also provide medico legal reports, reports for capacity assessment, risk assessment (e.g HCR20), suicide risk assessment, benefit appeals, immigration applications, parental right appeals, the DVLA, action for eviction, personal injury and employment tribunals amongst others. Our psychiatrists regularly assess fitness for trial, criminal responsibility, diminished responsibility, vulnerable witnesses and have expert witness experience.
