The Redherring is a small quality led restaurant situated in The Broads national park.
We focus on produce that is sourced within Norfolk & Suffolk with a daily changing menu to reflect the seasons.
We have an intimate courtyard with an old pinot noir grape vine that covers the entire terrace – an unmatched dining venue locally.
We also have the regions largest selection of artisanal gins & rums and pride ourselves on our cocktail & wine offering – no pina coladas here!
The restaurant has been under current ownership since 2015 and is trading well with good representation on social media & highly rated on tripadvisor.
We have a sympathetically restored hay loft that now is used as a private dining room that can seat up to 16 round a large mahogany dining table.
We also have a ‘Chefs Table’ - a private booth situated next to the kitchen where we provide tailored tasting menus & an interactive dining experience between the kitchen & guests.
We are the only venue within the town of Lowestoft that has the capacity & skill to deliver tasting menus of up to 10 courses.
