The Inn at Cranborne is a C16th Inn at the heart of the beautiful village of Cranborne, Dorset. The Inn's 30 Mile Menu showcases produce only sourced within 30 miles of The Inn and grown in The Inn's cottage gardens. The drinks list includes local ales, a famous gin collection and hand selected wine list. Stay in one of the eight en suite bedrooms with ridiculously comfortable beds, crisp white linen and Melyn Tregwynt milled blankets. Fresh milk in flasks and ground coffee are provided along with mod cons like iPod docks. The Inn sits in the area called the Cranborne Chase, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and has been used for centuries as a playground for outdoor pursuits and sports. The Inn has served the village and played host to travellers from all walks of life for centuries including Thomas Hardy, whose Chaseborough from Tess of the D'Urbervilles was based on Cranborne, visited the Inn in the late C19th and smugglers used the Inn as a base at one stage.
