Abacus Pre School is Ofsted registered and has 5 settings across south Gloucestershire, in Mangotsfield, Winterbourne, Filton and Bradley Stoke. We have gained outstanding in 2 of these preschools and have outstanding features in other settings. We care for children 2-4 years and each setting is open daily in line with south Gloucestershire school terms. All the children have a personal electronic journal that the key worker adds to regularly and parents can access this and also add to, this helps to enhance their child's learning and development.
We have free registration for forces families and welcome visits to any of our settings. We support forces families and the children at our preschool by working in partnership with the families and supporting the child in preschool. We also encourage parents/carers to come into preschool if they wish to talk about their experiences. The key worker helps the child at preschool to settle and talks about family life with them and we have posters and forces resources that we use to help support children.
