From the comfy beds, and crisp linen to the deep baths, aromatic toiletries and fluffy towels…our bedrooms have been designed with no-one else but you in mind.So, after a gentle lakeside stroll, a more ambitious bike ride or a day exploring what the Lake District has to offer, you can head back to the sanctuary of your room and have a soothing hot bath. Some of our rooms have enviable lake views so what better place to enjoy a pre-dinner drink as you watch the evening sun set over the spectacular Lake District landscape. After your slumber, you’ll probably find it hard to tear yourself away from your bed to come down for breakfast…but as our guests keep telling us, it’s definitely worth the effort! Though, we don’t mind bringing breakfast up to you if you feel like being pampered.Accessibility:We have an accessible toilet on the ground floor. Please note that our bedrooms are all on the first or second floor and none of our bathrooms have hand rails etc for less able bodied guests. If you have any concerns, we would encourage you to call us to discuss your requirements pre-arrival.Dogs:At Merewood we are a dog friendly hotel. We have a small charge of £20 for your dogs stay. Your dog is welcome in any of our bedrooms and lounges, excluding the dining room for health and safety reasons, which we are sure you will understand.
