Rutland Garden Centre is a medium sized enterprise which offers the real gardener great Quality, Value and Choice along with a friendly and personal Service.
The Garden Centre specialises in a complete range of plants, trees & shrubs complemented by a full range of hard landscaping products such as paving, decorative aggregates, fencing & sundries.
The original garden centre was established by the Hamilton Family in the early 1970s as a plant growing nursery. It was revamped and extended in 2000 after Kevin – our resident plant guru joined the team in 1999.
Chris Hamilton joined the company in 2001 and helped to move the business forward by starting to develop the “Village” as it is now known which to date comprises of The Rutland Garden centre, The Potting Shed Café, Rutland Sheds,Rutland Classics, Cotton Traders, Pet’s Corner, The Rutland Sewing, Rutland Flowers & Lifestyle & the Camping and accessory shop “Get Lost”.
In January 2014 the newly formed Home & Garden Group took over the operations at Rutland Garden Centre & we have started to relaunch under our own Group name with the same Quality & Variety as previously but with enhanced buying powers that bring with it excellent value for money along with some fantastic new ranges and ideas.
