How do you choose a driving instructor?
He’s got pretty pictures on his website.
He guarantees a first time pass.
He has a 100% pass rate.
I’m not one of those, first of all no one can guarantee a pass, I’ve had confident young males I would have bet anything they would pass. Part way through the test they panic, do something silly and fail.
One nervous female on the hour before her test decided she couldn’t go through with it, so we spent most of the time talking rather than driving. She passed with just 2 minors, even the examiner commented on a good drive.
They are the reasons why no one can guarantee or claim 100% pass rate.
With me you get a fully qualified Driving Standards Agency instructor with 14 years’ experience. And as such I’m constantly retested in my ability to teach as well as holding a valid CRB certificate (Criminal Records Bureau).
I’m also an Institute of Advanced Motorist member and member of the Motoring School Association.
Because I believe you should get what you pay for, my mobile is off limits during lessons, that is why we also have a landline number with my better half on the other end.
