MOT a Car, a family run business run by Geoff & Phil Boston, is one of the largest and longest running MOT stations serving the Colchester and surrounding community. The team led by Tony Tye are equipped to carry out a comprehensive range of repairs to most makes and models of cars and vans to keep your vehicle on the road, whether it needs an exhaust, tyres, welding, or just a couple of light bulbs. MOT a car are also able to carry out routine servicing to industry standards. Our aim is to provide a fast, no fuss turnaround with our two automated MOT testing lanes and up to six nominated testers. Should your car require a longer stay, you can have use of our courtesy car while your car is in our care.
We promise to give you an unbiased and honest opinion on your car and won’t recommend that any unnecessary work is carried out. MOT a car can carry out your MOT test while you wait, or you can leave it with us for the day in our large car park while you go to work.
We are open in Colchester between 8.00am and 6.00pm during the week and 8.00am until 1.00pm on a Saturday.
